Your Storyteller
I'm a retired primary teacher.
I really enjoy DJ'ing on the radio, and presenting
a variety of shows.
Waggy Tales was first set up about eight years ago,
but many of the tales have been in our family for over 60
years, often heavily modified with the telling. Storytelling
tends to be handed down via parents and grandparents, so many
of the tales began as bedtime stories for children in my family.
It's funny, but when you tell a story, you often forget how
it went by the next week, but the child who listened to the
tale can frequently recall every bit of it. Consequently,
the next generation get to hear an almost perfect version
of the original, when the person who made it up is no longer
able to remember just how it went.

Some of the tales have been deliberately left unfinished,
however, if you'd like to know the ending of any one in particular,
just let me know and I'll send you the whole tale as an e-book
for you to keep free. I've tried to keep my site free in the
best tradition of the internet so that anyone can access items
of interest purely for their own enjoyment. All the tales
are written "as they come", because I often write
two or three each week, putting them online within minutes
of their original creation.
